Howie-in-the-Hills, Fla. - The final round of the 2007 Mission Inn Invitational was rained out on Sunday afternoon with the Greyhounds out on the course. Due to the rain out, Loyola takes 12th place in the 18-team field with a two day score of 608.

Lipscomb won the tournament with a 36-hole score of 579, while St. John's and Western Kentucky rounded out the top three spots. Senior co-captain Chris Derby led Loyola with a 34th-place finish and a tournament score of 150. Senior co-captain Matt Bassler and junior Michael Mulieri finished one stroke back at 151.

The Greyhounds return to competition on October 22-23 at the Santa Clara Invitational in Santa Clara, Calif.
