PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Loyola women's lacrosse players Grace Gavin and Kristen Stone were named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll on Monday following their performances in the Greyhounds game against Notre Dame last weekend.
Gavin matched her career-high with four goals on Saturday versus the Fighting Irish. In addition to her scoring, Gavin also had three caused turnovers, two ground balls and won two draw controls.
Stone led Loyola's defense, causing four turnovers. She also picked up three ground balls and helped the Greyhounds hold Notre Dame to just three goals in the second half.
Loyola (3-6 overall, 1-3 BIG EAST) steps out of conference play on Sunday, March 30, when it travels to Penn State for a 1 p.m. game against the Nittany Lions.
