SORRENTO, FLA. - Ryan McCarthy and Keith Hall each led Loyola with a pair of 73's during Friday's second round at the Southeast Regionals at RedTail Golf Club. The Greyhounds shot a 302 today and fell three spots to 14th entering tomorrow's final round.

A day after shooting an even-par 284, Loyola slipped to 18-over par on Friday, eight shots back of Indiana University at 13th. The Greyhounds enter the final round 26 strokes back of qualifying fifth-place. Currently, South Carolina and the University of Kentucky are tied for fifth at 8-under. The University of Central Florida leads the tournament at 23-under, and Arizona is two back.

"We lost our composure a bit today and against this kind of quality field, you really pay the price," said Loyola Head Coach Tom Beidleman.

After shooting a career-low 69 in the opening round, McCarthy again led Loyola with a 73, putting the freshman even through the two rounds. He is in a six-way tie for 31st place.

Hall also shot a 73, putting him at 8-over for the tournament after firing 77 yesterday.

Mike Mulieri shot a 77 to put him at 7-over, while Alex Redfearn dropped 10 shots today to a 79, good for 6-over. Freshman Jay Mulieri carded a 79 and is 11-over.

Arizona's Tarquin MacManus leads the individuals at 13-under.

Loyola will tee off at 8 a.m. on Saturday at No. 10, where they will be paired with Indiana University and Florida Atlantic.
