Annapolis, Md. - The Loyola University Maryland women's tennis team competed at the Navy Duals in Annapolis, Md. today where the Greyhounds defeated Navy in doubles, 2-1, and lost to George Washington in singles, 6-0.
Senior Joy Johnson and sophomore Scarlett Hoy defeated Navy's Laderer and Howle, 9-7, while freshman Sabrina Fedele and freshman Tiffany Ash beat Navy's Adams and Olson, 8-1. Senior Lane Maloney and sophomore Gabriella DeCarvalho lost to Zook and Kovac of Navy, 8-3.
