Women's Tennis Wraps Up Play At Bucknell Invitational

Lewisburg, Pa. - The Loyola University Maryland's women's tennis team finished the Bucknell Invitational Sunday in Lewisburg, Pa. Sophomore Scarlett Hoy won the consolation finals of the Flight "B" singles with a pair of victories.

In Flight "B" of the doubles, freshman Tiffany Ash and junior Dana Verona lost in the consolation bracket final to Duquesne's team of Bittner and Toby, 8-3.

In Flight "A" of the singles, freshman Sabrina Fedele lost to Mount St. Mary's Emily Bolchoz, 6-1, 6-3. Fedele finished the tournament with three wins and two losses.

Hoy won the consolation finals of Flight "B", 6-2, 6-1, over Bucknell's Lauren Rottkamp.

Senior Andie Keyser-Baker won her final match of the tournament, 6-0, 7-5, as she defeated Villanova's Wes Donadio. Keyser-Baker won three matches and lost a match on the weekend.

The women's tennis team will compete next at Coppin State on Thursday, September 23 and Friday through Sunday at the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Md.
