The Loyola University Maryland men's and women's tennis teams finished a busy weekend of competition on Sunday, as the women defeated Monmouth University, 7-0, in dual match action, while the men competed at the George Mason Invitational.

Also, freshman Olivia Ott played a semifinal match at the Bill & Sandy Moore Invitational at Navy, falling in straight-sets, 6-3, 6-2, to Towson's Ayanna Dow.

Meanwhile, her teammates were in dual match action at home, sweeping a match from visiting Monmouth.

The Greyhounds took the doubles point, as Rachel Janasek and Judy Lite won by default at No. 1, Sabrina Fedele and Tiffany Ash topped Ashley Sandler and Dana Ferrari, 8-2, and Liz Black and Jackie Lionetta were 8-4 victors over Liz D'Arcy and Sarah Turner.

All six Loyola singles players were straight-set winners. Janasek topped Nicole Lippens, 6-2, 6-0, while Fedele defeated Brooke Verdiglione, 6-4, 6-2, in the No. 2 spot.

Ash beat Sandler, 6-4, 6-0, and Lite was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Ferrari. Black got by D'Arcy, 6-1, 6-1, and Lionetta finished off the sweep with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Turner.

In men's action, the Greyhounds played two rounds of doubles and a round of singles at the George Mason Invitational.

Eric Michaelis and Tom Hamm topped Jordan Borsanyi and Christpher Borden of George Mason, 9-8 (8-6), while Keyan Sanai and Harrison Kunkel edged the Patriots' Jimmy Davis and Scott Keaton, 8-4.

Sanai and Kunkel also were winners in singles action. Sanai won a grueling 2-hour, 30-minute match, topping George Mason's Jorge Osuna, 5-7, 6-4 (10-8), and Kunkel edged Mike Zabetakis of Mount St. Mary's, 6-2, 6-3.

Michaelis also was victorious in singles, topping The Mount's Paul Chae, 6-3, 6-3.
