Greyhounds In 11th After First Round Of ODU/OBX Collegiate

POWELLS POINT, N.C. - The Loyola University Maryland golf team sits in 11th place following the first round of the Old Dominion/OBX Collegiate. The squad has combined for an aggregate score of 21-over 309.

Junior Brendan Lemp leads the team with a score of 3-over 75. He ranks tied for 25th overall.

Senior Jon Ross is second on the team and tied for 40th overall with a score of 5-over 77, while junior Andrew McGill is one stroke behind and tied for 46th overall. Senior Will Handley and freshman Keegan Boone are both tied for 53rd at 7-over 79.

Georgia Southern leads the team race with a 2-over 290, while Old Dominion and Richmond are tied for second at 7-over 295.

Individually, Georgia Southern's Scott Wolfes tops the leaderboard with a 6-under 66. Elon's Stuart Kaufman and VCU's Jake McNulty are tied for second at 3-under 69.

Loyola will return to the course for the second round on Monday.
