ATHENS, Ga. - The Loyola University Maryland golf team shot a 21-over 309 on the final day of the 2012 NCAA Athens Regional at the University of Georgia Golf Course to finish 13th overall at 910.

Senior Ryan McCarthy led the Greyhounds throughout the tournament, finishing tied for 30th overall at 10-over 226. Classmate Jay Mulieri shot a team-best 2-over 74 through the final round to finish tied for 63rd at 12-over 228.

Freshman Bart George carded a 6-over 78 today to finish tied for 68th at 14-over 230, while sophomore Brendan Lemp was one stroke behind at 231.

Senior Patrick McCormick matched his first-round score of 5-over 77 to finish tied for 72nd at 234.

Alabama swept the top-three individual finishers and the team title at 36-under 828. Justin Thomas finished first at 12-under 204, while teammates Bobby Wyatt was one stroke behind and Cory Whitsett finished third at 8-under 208.
