BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland men's tennis team started off the spring schedule with a strong 6-1 victory over Shepherd University Sunday at Butler Courts.
With split matches in doubles, Bobby Gorczakowski and Connor Pietrak took down Shepherd's Chris Pratt and Taylor Boyle, 8-6, to give Loyola a 1-0 lead.
In singles play, five Greyhounds - Connor Pietrak, Harrison Kunkel, Jordan Kuchta, Connor Lisco, and Greg Olesnycky - took care of business and improved the men's team's dual match record to 3-0.
The men's and women's teams host Coppin State University today at 2:30 p.m., to continue their great spring start.
