Series vs. The Orange
• The Orange lead the Greyhounds, 7-5, in a series record that dates back to 2003.

• The Greyhounds went on to beat the then-second-ranked Orange, 13-7, in the Carrier Dome in last year's BIG EAST Championship game, giving Loyola its second-straigth conference title.

Connecticut Huskies (13-1, 5-1 BIG EAST)
• UConn is looking to extend its seven-game win streak this weekend.
• With a 10-7 win over Notre Dame on Sunday, the Huskies clinched their first-ever berth in the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament.
