Final Stats

BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland men's soccer team concluded its season with a 2-0 loss to Holy Cross Saturday afternoon in Senior Day at Ridley Athletic Complex.

The Crusaders netted the game's first goal in the 68th minute when Joey DeVivo headed in a free kick from Diego Ceron.

Arno Rupp then gave Holy Cross a 2-0 advantage in the 86th minute when he finished a loose ball inside the box.

Loyola's lone shot came off the foot of junior Laurin Vogel after junior Brennan Goldsmith and freshman Brandon Levano played senior Mike LaRose's long ball out to Vogel on the right wing. Vogel's shot went wide right, though.

In goal, junior Matt Sanchez stopped seven shots to finish the season with 77 saves.
