Final Stats

BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland women's basketball team dropped a 65-37 contest to College of the Holy Cross on Wednesday night to close out the home slate of the regular season.

Prior to the game, senior Nai Brown was recognized for her accomplishments on and off the court. The Newark, Delaware, native led the team with 11 points, while junior Jeneh Perry grabbed a team-best five rebounds.

Brown and junior Colleen Marshall were the only two Greyhounds to record field goals in the first half. The duo combined for 14 of the team's 15 first-half points, as senior Kara Marshall added the lone point from the charity stripe.

Holy Cross (14-16 overall, 10-7 Patriot League) extended its 13-point halftime lead by scoring the first eight points of the second half.

Brown put Loyola (7-21, 5-12) back on the board, 36-17, with 17:24, but the Crusaders scored 11 of the game's next 16 points and led by 20-plus points for the remainder of the contest.

Holy Cross' Raquel Scott posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Loyola closes out the regular season on Saturday night with a quick road trip to Annapolis, Maryland to take on the United States Naval Academy at 7 p.m.
