Loyola Greyhounds (7-3-1, 3-1-1 Patriot League)
• Josh Fawole was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Greyhounds to a 3-1 win over Boston University Friday night. Fawole scored the first two goals of the game, including the eventual game-winner, to become the first conference player to score multiple goals against the Terriers since Brian Saramago had a hat trick vs. BU in 2016.
• The Greyhounds are outscoring their non-conference opposition, 10-5, this year. Loyola holds an 84-58 advantage in shots, a 34-17 lead in corner kicks, and is outscoring teams 1.67 to 0.83 in goals per game average.
• Two of the Greyhounds' three losses are to teams that have received votes in the national poll this year, while their lone tie was to Colgate, a team ranked 25th nationally to start the year.
• Brian Saramago, a MAC Hermann Trophy Award Watch List honoree, leads the Greyhounds with 15 points on five goals and five assists. He recorded his first multi-assist game in the season opener and then netted his second career hat trick vs. the Mount. He had a four-point game at Navy, scoring once and assisting two other goals.
• Barry Sharifi is second on the team with three goals and two assists for eight points, while Fawole also has three goals and is tied with Gabriel Carlsson (1g, 4a) for third on the team with six points.
• Chase Vosvick has played all 1031 minutes and has tallied 28 saves this season, including two on penalty kicks; at Villanova and vs. Boston University. He's allowed eight goals, recorded five shutouts, has a 0.70 goals-against average and a .778 save percentage.
• In Patriot League only games, Fawole is tied for first in the League with three goals scored, while Brown and Sharifi are tied for fourth with two goals apiece. Saramago and Carlsson are also tied for second in the League in assists, with three each, while Nichols' two assists are tied for fifth.
Cleveland State Vikings (4-5-2, 1-2-2 Horizon League)
• The Vikings are looking to extend a four-game unbeaten streak, as they've gone 3-0-1 in their last four outings; beating UIC, 3-1, Ohio State, 2-0, Pittsburgh, 4-3, before tying IUPUI, 1-1.
• Cleveland State started the season 0-4-1 before snapping the winless streak with a 2-0 win over Bowling Green. The Vikings then fell at No. 25 Wright State before going on their unbeaten streak.
• Gabe Pewu leads the team with five goals and 11 points this year, while Vlad Jandric has three goals and seven points.
• Freshmen Alex Gyerman and Nicklas Rulle have both spent time in goal for Cleveland State. Gyerman has played 767 minutes, and is allowing 1.29 goals per game while posting a .732 save percentage. Rulle has logged 262 minutes and has a 2.40 GAA and .417 save percentage.
