Hawk Classic
• Loyola will head to Philadelphia for the Hawk Classic, hosted by Saint Joseph's, on Saturday and Sunday.
• The Greyhounds will play Boston College for the first time in women's basketball on Saturday and then face either Rider or Saint Joseph's on Sunday at either noon or 2 p.m.
• Loyola is 31-14 against this year's tournament field, holding a 30-11 record against former Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference foe, Rider, and a 1-3 mark against the host Hawks.
• In addition to being former conference rivals of Rider, the Greyhounds also have ties to Saint Joseph's and Boston College, as head coach Joe Logan was an assistant at Saint Joseph's from 2002-05, assistant coach Jenna Loschiavo played for the Hawks from 2005-09 and assistant coach Shelley Sheetz was an assistant coach at Boston College from 2012-15.
• Loschiavo concluded her career at Saint Joseph's as one of the top 3-point shooters in program history, ranking sixth in 3-point field goals made (150), attempted (404) and percentage (.371). She also ranked 10th in single-season treys made, recording 71 throughout her sophomore season.
Loyola Greyhounds (0-4, 0-0 Patriot League)
• Junior Alexis Gray tied a game-high of 14 points, while classmate Stephanie Karcz added nine points and game-highs of seven rebounds, five assists and five steals, but Loyola was unable to get past William & Mary in its most recent outing.
• Sophomore Isabella Therien, the 2017-18 Patriot League Rookie of the Year, leads the Greyhounds with 11.0 points per game, while Karcz, the 2017-18 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, leads the team with 11.3 rebounds per game, 14 steals and 12 assists.
Boston College Eagles (4-0, 0-0 Atlantic Coast Conference)
• The Eagles are 4-0 this season, picking up wins at Rhode Island, 88-64, vs. Saint Peter's, 89-57, vs. Holy Cross, 89-63, and at Houston, 67-57.
• Marnelle Garraud leads Boston College in scoring, with 15.3 points per game, while Emma Guy is scoring 15.0 points per game and Makayla Dickens is contributing 13.0.
• Dickens also has a team-best 10 rebounds and 18 assists.
• Georgia Pineau leads the team on the boards, grabbing 7.5 per game, while Guy is averaging 7.4 rebounds per game.
