• Loyola and Mount St. Mary's will take part in a basketball doubleheader on Saturday with the men's teams playing at 1 p.m., followed by the women at 4 p.m.

Loyola Greyhounds (0-6, 0-0 Patriot League)
• The Greyhounds enter the contest looking for their first win of the season.
• Loyola's comeback fell short in its most recent outing, a 49-46 loss at Saint Joseph's in the Hawk Classic over Thanskgiving weekend. The Greyhounds outscored the Hawks 12-6 in the fourth quarter, but Saint Joseph's forced Loyola into a turnover with four seconds to go to hold onto the one-possession victory.
• Sophomore Isabella Therien led all players with 19 points in the contest and was named to the Hawk Classic All-Tournament Team for her performance.
• Therien leads the Greyhounds in scoring this year, averaging 11.7 points per game. Redshirt senior Bri Betz-White is second on the team with 8.8 points per game.
• Junior Stephanie Karcz, the 2017-18 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and 2018-19 Preseason All-Patriot League Team honoree, leads the charge on defense with a team-best 10.0 rebounds per game and 23 steals. Her 10 rebounds per game ranks fourth in the Patriot League, while her 3.8 steals per game leads the League by an average of more than 1.0 steals per game.
Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers (2-3 0-0 Northeast Conference)
• Michaela Harrison was named the NEC Player and Rookie of the Week after her 30-point performance got the Mountaineers a 87-78 win over Towson in their most recent outing.
• Harrison leads four Mountaineers in double-figure scoring this year, averaging 14.0 points per game, while Juliette Lawless is contributing 13.0, Jatarrikah Settle is at 11.6 and Daly Sullivan is at 11.4.
• Rebecca Lee leads the team in rebounding, grabbing 8.2 boards per game.

• Loyola trails Mount St. Mary's, 24-15, in the all-time series.
• The Greyhounds have come out on top of 11 of the last 15 meetings though, including three of the last four, as the Mount won last year's meeting, 71-63.
