Game Notes
• This marks the first-ever meeting between Loyola and Dartmouth in women's basketball.
• Dartmouth head coach Belle Koclanes is married to former Loyola women's basketball student-athlete and assistant coach Jill Glessner. Glessner, now Koclanes, graduated in 2007 with a bachelors degree in psychology. She concluded her career ranked eighth in program history with 265 career assists. As a senior, she averaged 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 33.6 minutes per game en route to All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference First Team honors. She also helped the Greyhounds to the 2006 MAAC title game and to the conference semifinals in 2007. She's currently Dartmouth's Assistant Athletic Director for External Relations int eh Athletic Fundraising and Marketing Department.
• Loyola is coming off a 70-38 loss at George Mason in the season opener, while this will mark the first game of the 2018-19 season for the Big Green.
Loyola Greyhounds (0-1, 0-0 Patriot League)
• The Greyhounds return all five starters from the 2017-18 campaign and also get graduate student Bri Betz-White, a first-team All-Patriot League performer in 2016-17, back after a season-ending injury held her out of last year.
• Loyola returns junior Stephanie Karcz, a Preseason All-Patriot League selection, and sophomore Isabella Therien. Karcz, an All-Patriot League First Team and All-Defensive Team selection, was voted the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year last year and Therien was voted the League's Rookie of the Year.
• Junior Alexis Gray also returns after a record-breaking sophomore season, as the guard broke Loyola's season record for 3-pointers made, connecting on 64 from downtown.
• Senior Ashley Hunter, senior Courtney Vannoy and sophomore Delaney Connolly round out the lineup, as the trio split time in the other two starting roles last year.
• The Greyhounds also welcome a pair of freshmen to the program, as Taleah Dixon makes the short trip to Loyola from the McDonogh School in Baltimore and Laryn Edwards comes from Hampton High School in Allison Park, Pennsylvania.
Dartmouth Big Green (0-0, 0-0 Ivy League)
• Dartmouth is coming off a 15-12 season, marking its most wins since the 2008-09 season.
• The Big Green are led by Cy Lippold and Isalys Quinones.
• Lippold averaged 12.3 points per game last year and led the team with 5.3 assists per game and 53 steals.
• Quinones was third on the team with 10.5 points per game and led the squad with 6.5 rebounds per game and 18 blocked shots.

• This will mark the first meeting between Loyola and Dartmouth in women's basketball.
