WEST POINT, N.Y. – The U.S. Military Academy hit .379 to Loyola University Maryland's .125 on Saturday evening, defeating the visiting Greyhounds in three, 25-14, 25-16, 25-16.

The Black Knights (15-6 overall, 6-2 Patriot League) had just eight errors in 87 swings while compiling 41 kills in the match. Emmy Barnhorst had 10 kills, while three other Army West Point players had seven or more kills.

Ann Ernst tallied 10 kills for the Greyhounds, and
Katie Forsythe led Loyola with 13 digs.

Loyola (10-11, 3-4) had leads in the first eight points of each set, but Army West Point went on runs that pushed it in front for each of the frames en route to the sweep.

The Greyhounds are back in action on Tuesday, October 22, when they travel to Washington, D.C., for a Patriot League match at American University.
