BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland men's soccer looks for a season-best third win in a row on Tuesday, traveling to Mount St. Mary's for a non-conference game beginning at 7 p.m.

Last Time Out

  • Barry Sharifi scored twice, while Daniel Osuji and Josh Fawole added solo strikes in a 4-2 victory for Loyola over Lafayette on Saturday. 
  • Brian Saramago chipped in a pair of assists for the Greyhounds, who handed the Leopards (7-3-1, 3-1) their first conference defeat of the season.
  • Saramago logged his 75th career point, while Sharifi is up to 51 points during his time at Loyola.
  • Matt Dabrowski made a pair of saves to improve to 2-0 in goal on the year.
  • Justin Ingram and Kristinn Pétursson added assists in the victory, with Pétursson picking up his first collegiate point.

  • Mount St. Mary's (4-4, 1-1 Northeast Conference) snapped a four-game losing streak with a 2-1 overtime victory over St. Francis Brooklyn on Sunday. The Mountaineers have faced three Patriot League opponents, dropping 1-0 decisions to both Army and Navy and topping Bucknell by a 2-1 final on Sept. 6.
  • Sophomore forward Yann Kouemi has scored four of the team's nine goals on the year.
  • Mount St. Mary's has already doubled its win total from last year's mark of 2-10-4 (1-5-2 NEC). The program returned to competition in 2018 after being discontinued from 2013-17.
  • The Mountaineers were ranked seventh out of 10 schools in the 2019 Northeast Conference preseason poll.
