Women In Sports Day
• Saturday is Loyola's annual Women In Sports Day, or WISD (pronounced wiz-dee). The day is meant to celebrate the achievements of female athletes and to encourage young girls to get involved in sports.
• Female athletes spend time sharing their experiences, signing autographs and showing how much fun getting involved in athletics can be.
• WISD events will begin at noon at Reitz Arena with tipoff set for 2 p.m.

Loyola Greyhounds (2-18, 1-8 Patriot League)
• Sophomore Isabella Therien, the 2017-18 Patriot League Rookie of the Year, leads the Greyhounds and ranks third in the Patriot League with 14.3 points per game, while she's second on the team in rebounding, grabbing 5.6 boards per game.
• Junior Stephanie Karcz, the 2017-18 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, ranks fourth in the League with 10.4 rebounds, while she's first in steals, with 75, and fifth in assists, with 3.2 per game. She's also second in offensive boards, with 3.7 per game.
• Karcz's 4.17 steals per game ranks third in the NCAA this year, while her 263 career steals trail only Katie Sheahin's school record of 347 from 2009-13 in Loyola's career records. She also cracked the top-10 single season records and is tied for sixth with 75.
• In conference only games, Therien ranks second in the League with 16.4 points per game, while freshman Taleah Dixon is second on the team and the fourth-ranked rookie in the League in scoring, contributing 7.9 points per conference game.

Army West Point Black Knights (8-12, 3-6 Patriot League)
• Army West Point is currently looking to snap a three-game losing streak.
• Madison Hovren, the Preseason Patriot League Player of the Year, has had the hot hand all season and is ranked second in the League with 18.2 points per game. She's also first in the Patriot League with 13.0 rebounds per game.
• Jess Lewis also leads the League in a stat category, averaging 4.9 assists per game.

Series History
• Army West Point leads the all-time series, 12-5, and is 4-3 when playing in Baltimore.
• In a series that dates back to 2008, Loyola earned four of the first five wins, but the Black Knights then went on a seven-game win streak once Loyola joined the Patriot League, sweeping each of the 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018 series meetings.
• The Greyhounds earned their first League victory over Army West Point during the 2016-17 season, which was the first meeting after Loyola fell to the Black Knights in the title game of the Patriot League Championships.
• Earlier this season, Army earned a 69-57 victory at Christl Arena to stretch its win streak to four-straight meetings.

Up Next
• Loyola has a week to prepare for its next game, as Holy Cross visits on Saturday at 4 p.m.
