Sister Sister
• Senior All-American midfielder Taylor VanThof and former three-time Greyhound All-American Taryn VanThof '15 will go head-to-head for one final time on Saturday, as Taryn returns to Loyola as an assistant coach on Florida's staff.
• The sisters hail from Livonia, New York, and have been featured on the Greyhounds' roster over the course of the last nine years. Taryn came to Loyola in 2010-11 and helped the Greyhounds to their first of two-straight BIG EAST Championships. She missed her sophomore season due to injury, but rebounded to break the program's single-game and season records for draw controls in her junior season; winning 15 at Lafayette (3/15/14) and finishing that year with a school-record 122 draws.
• Taryn also helped the Greyhounds transition to the Patriot League for the 2014 season and graduated in 2015 as a three-time all-conference selection and the school's career record holder for draw controls (318). She also contributed 108 goals, 52 assists, 160 points, 127 ground balls and 78 caused turnovers.
• Taylor joined the program as a freshman in 2016 and picked up where Taryn left off. Taylor has since bettered her sisters single game and season marks and is 26 draws shy of topping her career record for draw controls. In winning 20 draws at American (3/29/17), Taylor became the second player in NCAA Division I history to win at least 20 draws in a single game. She holds the school and Patriot League game records at 21 draws won against Colgate (4/1/17).
• Taylor also won a school-record 146 draw controls as a sophomore and followed it up with 119 draws last year to become the first player in school history to reach 100 draws in multiple seasons.
• With one season to go, Taylor has scored 73 goals, assisted 13 and has 86 points. She's all scooped up 44 ground balls and caused 22 turnovers.
Loyola Greyhounds (0-1, 0-0 Patriot League)

• Livy Rosenzweig returns for her sophomore season after leading the Greyhounds with 55 goals, 47 assists and 102 points. Her 102 points broke Grace Gavin single-season record of 98 points, set in 2011, while she also became the first Greyhound - male or female - to break 100 points in a single season.
• Rosenzweig owns Loyola's freshman records for points (102), assists (47) and draw controls (89), and the program record for assists in a single game (8, at Colgate).
• Nationally, Rosenzweig was the top-ranked freshman in the NCAA in assists and points last year, while she was one of three freshmen to earn All-America honors.
• Senior Hannah Powers, the 2018 Patriot League Attacker of the Year, returns after ranking second on the team with 48 goals, 30 assists and 78 points.
• Senior Taylor VanThof enters her final season chasing the program's career record for draw controls, which is held by her older sister, Taryn ('15), at 318. Coming off a season in which she won 119 draw controls, VanThof became the third player in Patriot League history, and the first at Loyola, to reach 100 draws in multiple seasons. She has 293 throughout her career.
• Defensively, senior Kristen Yanchoris returns after earning Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women's lacrosse and Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year. She finished last season with 25 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers.
• In goal, senior Kady Glynn returns for a third-straight season as starting goalkeeper. Last season, she posted a 10.85 goals-against average and a .483 save percentage, totals that ranked 30th and 22nd in the NCAA, respectively.

Series History
• The Loyola-Florida series began in 2013, with the Gators winning all six games.
• The Gators have been ranked in the top-10 nationally in each of the meetings, including holding a top-five ranking in every contest except for 2016 (ranked No. 7).
• In 2014, then-No. 12 Loyola had a chance to upset then-No. 5 Florida at Ridley Athletic Complex, but the Gators put together a four-goal run to tie the score at 13 with 4:22 to play. Florida scored the game-winner with 37 seconds left, though.
• Loyola was also in control of last season's meeting, holding a 16-14 advantage with 2:27 to play in regulation after Livy Rosenzweig's free position goal. The Gators answered with their own FPG at 1:56 and then forced the Greyhounds into a turnover, which ultimately led the game-tying goal, sending the game to overtime. Florida scored the game-winner at the 2:02 mark of overtime.
