• Loyola and Penn State are both nationally ranked, with the Greyhounds checking in at No. 12 and the Nittany Lions at No. 8.
• Penn State will be Loyola's third-straight top-10 opponent. The Greyhounds beat No. 5 Florida, 15-12, in their last game at Ridley Athletic Complex, but fell at No. 4 Syracuse, 15-11, Wednesday night.
• The Nittany Lions are also coming off a loss, as Penn State suffered its first loss of the season to No. 14 Princeton, 21-10, Wednesday night.
Loyola Greyhounds (1-2, 0-0 Patriot League)
• Loyola is looking to rebound from a 15-11 loss at No. 4 Syracuse Wednesday night. The Greyhounds gave up the first seven goals of the game, falling behind 7-0 by the 17:29 mark of the first half. Loyola responded with an 11-8 run, but time expired before it was able to complete the comeback.
• Sophomore Livy Rosenzweig led all players with eight points in the game, including having a hand in five-straight goals. She also contributed to five of Loyola's seven second-half goals, finishing with four goals and four assists.
• For the season, Rosenzweig leads the Greyhounds with nine goals, six assists and 15 points, while sophomore Sam Fiedler has eight goals, four assists and 12 points.
• Senior Hannah Powers is third on the team with seven goals and 11 points, while she also has a team-best 15 draw controls.
• Lindsey Ehrhardt leads the defense with 10 ground balls and six caused turnovers, while Kady Glynn has allowed 13.07 goals per game and is stopping 42.2 percent of shots faced.
Penn State Nittany Lions (3-1, 0-0 Big Ten)
• The Nittany Lions are coming off a 21-10 loss to No. 14 Princeton.
• Penn State started off the season hot, with a win over nationally ranked and then-No. 11 Towson. Following the win, it defeated both Lehigh and Cornell to extend their win streak to three.
• Madison Carter has been in charge of the Lions in points with 15 goals and four assists. Following her in points are Kayla Brisolari and Sophia Triandafils with four goals and five assists each.
• Taylor Suplee is allowing 10.1 goals per game while saving 45.2 percent of shots faced.
