Loyola Greyhounds (5-23, 4-13 Patriot League)
• Junior Stephanie Karcz, the 2017-18 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, leads the Greyhounds on defense and is among the top-five Patriot League leaders in rebounds, steals and assists. With 9.5 rebounds per game, Karcz ranks fourth in the League, while her 3.2 offense rebounds per game is fifth and her 6.3 defensive rebounds per game is fourth, and her 3.5 assists per game ranks fourth.
• Karcz also leads the League with 4.4 steals per game. With 115 this season, she ranks fourth in the NCAA and sits second on Loyola's single-season records. She is on pace to break the school record, needing four to top Katie Sheahin's 118 from 2010-11.
• With 303 steals throughout her career, Karcz is also second to Sheahin's school record of 347 steals from 2009-13.
• Senior Bri Betz-White is second on the squad with 9.1 points per contest.
• With 8.4 points per game, freshman Taleah Dixon is the fourth-ranked rookie in scoring in the League. In League only games, she's leads the Greyhounds and ranks third in the conference with 10.0 points per game.
Boston University Terriers (15-12, 11-6 Patriot League)
• Boston University has four Terriers in the top-17 of the League's scoring leaders. Payton Hauck leads the way with 12.6 points per game, good for eighth. She's assisted by Nia Irving's 11.6 points per game, which is 12th in the League) Katie Nelson's 9.9 (16th) and Lauren Spearmen's 9.6 (17th).
• Irving leads the team in rebounding, ranking fifth in the League with 8.5 per game.
Series History
• Boston leads the all-time series, 7-5, after narrowly escaping Reitz Arena earlier this season with a 64-62 win in overtime.
• The two teams did not meet until January 19, 2014, during both teams' inaugural season in the Patriot League.
• The Terriers won the first three games in the series, all in 2014, but the Greyhounds swept the 2014-15 and 2015-16 series meetings to win four-straight games.
• Boston won both meetings during the 2016-17 season and the two teams split last year's meetings, with each winning its respective home contest.
