PENNSAUKEN TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Loyola University Maryland women's rowing raced in the varsity eight and varsity four events Sunday at the Cooper Invitational on the Cooper River in Southern New Jersey.
The Greyhounds advanced to the petite final of both events with the eight taking fourth in its race.
"Both boats made it to petite finals and got right into some exciting racing," said Head Coach
Megan Patrick. "The eight came out on the top side of the challenge and the four didn't, but both boats really dug in and fought for it more than I've seen Loyola do before.
"The train is on the right track this season, and now we have a month to keep adding speed. I'm really proud of the way our women raced today."
