PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – Loyola University Maryland men's and women's rowing wrapped up competition Saturday at the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta on the Cooper River.
The women's varsity pair took bronze in The Morrow Bowl grand final for the event, finishing in 8:39.200 behind Long Island and Simmons and almost five seconds in front of Oklahoma City.
Loyola's freshmen/novice 4+ also earned a bronze, taking third in its grand final in 8:13.510.
The men's varsity eight was fifth in its petite final with a time of 5:59.520, just holding off Jacksonville by 11 hundredths of a second, and the men's varsity 2- was fourth in its final with a time of 7:56.230.
Loyola's second varsity 4+ had the men's best finish on Saturday, taking second behind MIT in final No. 2 with a time of 7:19.230.
The Greyhounds' women's varsity 4+ was sixth in its final No. 2 in 8:18.210.
