GOLD RIVER, Calif. – Loyola University Maryland's men's rowing team was the last Greyhounds squad to compete in 2025-26 when it finished its competition at the IRA Championships in Northern California.
 
The Greyhounds' varsity 4+ took second in Final No. 4 at the event on Saturday morning.
 
Pete Bohacek, Gabe Wagner, Brendan Shaw, Chris Engelbert and coxswain Josephine Sedgley rowed 6:51.800 in the event. Santa Clara won the heat, followed by Loyola, Trinity (Conn.), Mercyhurst, Georgetown and Tufts.
