Rosenzweig, Ehrhardt, VanThof, Powers Earn IWLCA All-America Honors

For the first time since the 2014 season, four Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse players have been named All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association, with sophomore Livy Rosenzweig being voted to the first team, seniors Lindsey Ehrhardt and Taylor VanThof earning second-team honors, and senior Hannah Powers collecting third-team accolades, as announced by the IWLCA Wednesday.

This marks the second-straight All-America distinction for Rosenzweig and VanThof, while it's the first for Ehrhardt and Powers.

Rosenzweig, Loyola's first first-team honoree since Kellye Gallagher and Marlee Paton in 2012 also becomes the first Greyhound attacker to make the first team since Grace Gavin in 2011. A Top-25 Tewaaraton Award Semifinalist, Rosenzweig led the Greyhounds with a school-record 116 points, a total that ranked fourth in the NCAA this season. She also shattered the program's single-season record for assists, as she dished out 70 to finish the season ranked third nationally. In addition, with 46 goals, Rosenzweig pushed her career total to 101 to become just the third player in program history to reach the 100-goal and 100-assist plateau in their sophomore season, and just the first to do so since 1985.

A two-time first-team all-conference and All-Mid-Atlantic Region performer, the Katonah, New York, native already ranks 30th on Loyola's career records for goals (101), fourth in assists (117), ninth in points (218) and fourth in draw controls (174).

Ehrhardt had a breakout season for the Greyhounds, en route to earning Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year accolades. With 45 caused turnovers, she not only led the Team and ranked seventh in the NCAA this year. That total was also tied for third-most in Loyola's all-time single-season history and fourth-most in Patriot League single-season history. The six-time Patriot League Defender of the Week was added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List midway through the season and helped the defensive unit rank 12th in the NCAA with a 9.10 goals-against average.

Formerly a midfielder, the native of Westbury, New York, was drafted by the NY Fight of the Women's Professional Lacrosse League (WPLL) after concluding her career with 18 goals, 10 assists, 28 points, 84 ground balls, 74 draw controls and 80 caused turnovers.

VanThof graduated as the program's career (392), single season (146) and single game (21) record holder for draw controls, as she became the first player in program history – and the second in Patriot League history – to win at least 100 draws in three different seasons. The midfielder concluded her career ranked third in the League's record for draw controls and holds tow of the top-four individual season marks, with her 146 from 2017 ranking second and her 119 from 2018 ranking fourth. She concluded this season with 108 draw controls, which ranks fourth in Loyola's single-season history and ninth in the Patriot League's.

A two-time Tewaaraton Award honoree from Livonia, New York, VanThof concluded her career with 103 goals – the 29th player in program history to reach the 100-goals mark – 26 assists, 129 points, 68 ground balls, 392 draw controls and 41 caused turnovers. She has already began her professional career as she was selected by the Philly Fire in the 2019 WPLL Spring Draft.

Powers concluded her career as Loyola's all-time leader for points and with 317, ranked fourth in Patriot League history. The first player in program history to reach 150 goals and 100 assists throughout their career, her 187 goals rank fourth and her 130 assists are second at Loyola, while her assists rank fifth in Patriot League history. One of just seven players at Loyola and one of just 28 in League history to earn four-straight all-conference honors throughout their career, she also added Patriot League Tournament MVP honors to her resume after breaking the tournament records for overall goals (12) and points (18), and goals in a single game (8) this year.

The Tewaaraton Award Watch List honoree ranked fifth in the nation with 110 points this year, while she led the team with 61 goals and added 49 assists, the third-most in the program's single-season history. The Skaneateles, New York, native will begin her professional career with the Philly Fire in the WPLL this summer.
