Hoefs' goal came off a free kick with 20:24 remaining in regulation, as she curled in a shot from 25 yards out into the top left corner for her team-leading fourth strike of the year.
Four of Sim's five saves came in the opening half. She improved to 2-0 with a 0.43 goals-against average and a .900 save percentage in her first three collegiate appearances.

Series History

Loyola leads 3-0-0 in a series which dates back to 2002. The Greyhounds have outscored the Hornets 7-1 while picking up victories in each of the past two seasons.
