BALTIMORE – Five current or former Loyola University Maryland men's soccer players will suit up for FC Baltimore Christos and play in the Mid-Atlantic National Independent Soccer Association Independent Cup later this month.
Three members of the current roster, seniors
Jacob Denison,
Eddy Rodriguez and
Chase Vosvick, will join the semi-professional National Premier Soccer League team for the tournament that will feature four teams and start on July 28 at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown.
The trio of current Greyhounds will be joined by two recent graduates,
Nico Brown and
Davey Mason, who helped Loyola win the last three Patriot League regular-season titles.
Christos, which has won the last two Mid-Atlantic Conference titles in the NPSL, will face the New York Cosmos, New Amsterdam FC and Maryland Bobcats FC.
Games will be played July 28 and 31 with the final games on Sunday, August 2.
