TOLEDO, Ohio – Quinesha Lockett scored 15 of her game-high 30 points in the fourth quarter, as Toledo pulled away late from Loyola University Maryland during a 75-53 victory on Saturday.
The Greyhounds (3-7) were up 37-31 midway through the third quarter, but the Rockets (5-2) hit all five 3-pointers and shot 71.4 percent overall while outscoring the visitors 27-9 over the final 10 minutes.
Charia Roberts scored a career-high 13 points for Loyola while hitting 5 of 11 field goal attempts and 3 of 4 free throws.

Lex Therien added 10 points apiece, with Therien also grabbing a team-best seven rebounds.
After trailing 18-11 at the end of the first quarter, the Greyhounds shot 61.5 percent (8 for 13) from the floor over the next 10 minutes, outscoring Toledo to take a 28-27 lead into the intermission. Dixon had five of Loyola's 17 points in the second, including a corner 3-pointer in the final minute to put her team in the lead.
The Greyhounds took their largest lead at 37-31 with 6:54 remaining in the third quarter following a jumper inside by Therien. The Rockets ended the frame on a 17-7 run and kept up their hot shooting during the final quarter.
Lockett, who entered the game ranked 17th nationally in scoring at 20.3 points per game, set a new season high with her 30-point effort. She hit 9 of 15 field goals, 5 of 9 attempts from 3-point range and all seven of her free throws.
Loyola has an extended break for finals before returning to action on Thursday, Dec. 23 at St. Francis Brooklyn. That will be the Greyhounds' final non-conference game of the regular season, as they begin Patriot League play the following Thursday night at home against Army West Point.
