The Matchup
- Loyola women's lacrosse is back in the Patriot League Championship game for a seventh time in as many seasons, as the Greyhounds host Lehigh at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday looking for a fifth conference title during that span.
- Loyola (10-2) enters on a 10-game winning streak, the program's longest since a 16-game run in 2015, following a 17-6 victory over Colgate in Thursday's semifinal. The Greyhounds are ranked No. 9 in the IWLCA Coaches' and No. 11 in the ILWomen media polls.
- Lehigh (9-3) edged out Navy 13-12 in overtime in Monday's quarterfinal round, and held off Army by a 10-8 margin in the semifinals. The Mountain Hawks are looking for their second Patriot League title, with the first coming back in 1994.
- This will be the second Patriot League tournament between the two sides, with Loyola earning a 13-8 victory during the 2016 semifinal round.
Last Time Out
- Loyola quickly took control of Thursday's semifinal against Colgate, scoring 12 of the game's first 13 goals en route to its 11-goal win.
- Livy Rosenzweig led the way with four goals, four assists and six draw controls for Loyola, while Jillian Wilson added three goals, seven draws and four caused turnovers.
- Kaitlyn Larsson made seven saves with a .538 save pct. across the first 51:01 in goal, and Elli Kluegel chipped in two goals, four grounds balls and two caused turnovers.

Patriot League Tournament History
- The Greyhounds are 11-2 all-time in Patriot League tournament play, winning championships in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019.
- Loyola's only two defeats came against Navy in the 2017 and 2018 championship games. Including regular season contests, the Greyhounds are 68-2 against Patriot League opponents since joining the conference in 2014.

Rosenzweig Named Tewaaraton Top-25 Semifinalist
- For the second time in her Loyola career, Livy Rosenzweig is a Top-25 semifinalist for the women's lacrosse Tewaaraton Award.
- Rosenzweig leads Loyola with 69 points (28 G, 41 A), and she has totaled 5+ points in every contest during Loyola's winning streak.
- Now at 314 career points, she is four away from surpassing former teammate Hannah Powers for Loyola's all-time record. Her 175 career assists are also a team record, and she is only three assists away from passing Navy's Kelly Larkin to become the Patriot League's all-time leader.
- In addition to her offensive prowess, Rosenzweig ranks third in team history with 271 career draw controls. She has won a team-high 70 draws this season (5.8/gm).

- In accordance with Baltimore City guidelines, attendance at Loyola University Maryland athletics events will be capped at 250 spectators. Any spectators must be pre-registered through the home or visiting teams, and no admittance will be given to those not on the appropriate entrance lists.

Rosenzweig, Detwiler, Larsson Win Major PL Awards
- Loyola accounted for three of the six 2021 major award winners announced by the Patriot League on Monday, as Livy Rosenzweig was chosen as the Attacker of the Year, Katie Detwiler was named Defensive Player of the Year and Kaitlyn Larsson took home Goalkeeper of the Year accolades.
- Rosenzweig leads Division I in assists per game (3.42) and she is also the Patriot League's overall leader with 69 points (28 G, 41 A). She was previously named Rookie of the Year back in 2018.
- Detwiler was included on the watch list for this year's Tewaaraton Award and has won three PL Defensive POW awards this season. She has been matched up against three fellow watch list candidates during Loyola's winning run, shutting down Drexel's Karson Harris (1 G, 1 A, 3 TO), Navy's Nicole Victory (0 G, 2 A, 3 TO) and Lehigh's Sondra Dickey (3 G, 0 A).
- An ILWomen Second Team Preseason All-American this spring, Larsson leads the conference and ranks fifth nationally in GAA (8.02), and she is ninth nationally in save percentage (.506).
Eight Greyhounds Named All-Patriot League
- Loyola's major award trio also earned First Team All-Patriot League honors, where they were joined by teammates Sam Fiedler, Jillian Wilson and Meaghan Quinn.
- Elli Kluegel and Emily Wills were honored as second team All-Patriot League performers. The Greyhounds' eight all-conference selections were the most in the Patriot League.
- A Tewaaraton Award watch list candidate, Fiedler scored multiple goals in all 10 appearances before suffering a season ending injury on April 16. She totaled 45 points (32 G, 13 A), 14 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers and a .667 shot percentage which is the third highest in Division I.
- Wilson has 3+ points in nine of her last 10 appearances, and she has won at least four draws in every game during Loyola's winning streak. She leads the team in caused turnovers (16), ranks second in draws (55) and is third in both points (39, 23 G, 16 A) and ground balls (17).
- Quinn receives her first-career All-Patriot League recognition in her fifth year with the program. A two-time Defensive POW this spring, she is among the team leaders in ground balls per game (2.0, 18 total) and caused turnovers per game (1.1, 10 total) while aiding a backline which has surrendered single-digit goals in eight of the last 10 contests.
Eyes on Another NCAA Bid
- A Patriot League championship would clinch Loyola's ninth NCAA tournament appearance in the last 10 years under head coach Jen Adams.
- The Greyhounds were ranked ninth in the most-recent RPI rankings released by the NCAA on Monday.
- Loyola has won at least one NCAA tournament game in seven of its eight appearances under Adams, including runs to the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2011, 2012 and 2015.

Kluegel Named Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year
- Senior Elli Kluegel became the fifth Greyhound in the last six years to be named the Patriot League's Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year on Wednesday. A biology major/innovation and entrepreneurship minor, she is the lone Loyola senior student-athlete to maintain a 4.0 GPA.
- Kluegel was previously named Second Team All-Patriot League on Monday. She is tied for fourth on the team with 29 points (23 G, 6 A), leads Loyola in ground balls (25) and ranks second in caused turnovers (14).
- Kluegel was joined on the Academic All-Patriot League Team by teammates Katie Detwiler (marketing major, 3.57 GPA), Sam Fiedler (finance major, 3.81 GPA) and Kaitlyn Larsson (finance major, 3.64 GPA.
- Loyola's four academic team selections led the Patriot League.
Wills Surging Into Postseason
- Emily Wills, the lone Loyola sophomore to earn All-Patriot League accolades this season, totaled 16 points (11 G, 5 A) in the final four games of the regular season. She recorded back-to-back hat tricks in key division wins over Navy and Lehigh, and added a season-high six points (4 G, 2 A) vs. Bucknell on April 16.
- Wills has 29 points (18 G, 11 A) overall on the year, and she is third on the team with a .562 shot percentage. She has recorded multiple points in nine of her last 10 appearances.
Preseason Accolades
- Loyola topped the Patriot League preseason poll for an eighth-consecutive season, with the Greyhounds receiving 162 points and all 18 available first-place votes.
- Livy Rosenzweig was named Patriot League Preseason Offensive Player of the Year for a second time (previously in 2019), while Katie Detwiler earned Preseason Defensive Player of the Year accolades.
- Rosenzweig, Detwiler, Sam Fiedler, Elli Kluegel and Jillian Wilson were all Preseason All-Patriot League selections.
