BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse alums Katrina Geiger '18, Kady Glynn '19, Taryn VanThof '15 and Taylor VanThof '19 concluded play in the five-week inaugural Athletes Unlimited pro season over the weekend, with Glynn ending the campaign ranked fourth out of 58 players in the individual standings.

Athletes earned points based on team wins and individual performance. Glynn, the 2019 Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year, totaled 58 saves during her 15 appearances. A two-week team captain this summer, Glynn finished with a final total of 1,601 points. Twenty-seven of her 58 saves came in the fourth quarter, and she had a season-high nine stops against Team Ohlmiller on August 7.

The VanThof sisters also both cracked the top 25, with Taryn (7 G, 4 A, 17 GB, 10 CT) totaling 1,215 points while Taylor (8 G, 1 A, 20 GB, 7 CT, 21 DC) managed 1,180 points. Geiger, who registered 21 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers and one assist on defense, had a total of 915 points.

Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse plays a short form, fast paced format consisting of eight-minute quarters, 9v9 gameplay and a 60-second shot clock all housed on an 80yd x 50yd playing field. The season ran from July 23 to August 22, with games broadcast on CBS Sports Network, Fox Sports, Facebook and YouTube.
