Boston, MA -- The Loyola Greyhounds women's soccer team traveled to face the Boston Terriers on Sunday afternoon for the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Championships. The Greyhounds could not bounce back from two first half Terriers goals, as they went on to lose 3-0. 

The Terriers managed to find the back of the net early, as they would head in the ball after the ball bounced loose in front of net to make it 1-0. They would then add to their lead, as a shot from outside of the box found its way to the back of the net, as the ball just got passed Paige Sim. The Greyhounds had their chances on offense, as a Baylee DeSmit shot bounced off the post and a Sarah Mirr shot was just wide, but the Greyhounds trailed 2-0 at half. 

The Terriers once again added a early goal, as the Terriers once again headed in a goal in the 52nd minute to make it 3-0. From there, the Greyhounds had chances on goal, but could not convert as they lost to the Terriers 3-0.
