• The Greyhounds have opened their 50th season of women's lacrosse with seven-straight wins marking their first 7-0 start since 2011.

• Sam Fiedler scored her 150th career goal at Lehigh becoming the sixth midfielder in Loyola history to reach the milestone. With 150 goals, she ranks 12th all-time at Loyola, while her 210 points is two shy of breaking into Loyola's all-time top-10 records.
• Over the weekend, Georgia Latch was named to the Australian Senior National Team for the 2022 World Championships in Towson, Md.
Undefeated Through Seven Games
• Loyola and Princeton are two of the four remaining undefeated teams in NCAA Division I women's lacrosse this season
• Loyola is the lone member of the Patriot League, while Princeton is the only Ivy League team left unbeaten.
• North Carolina boasts a perfect 9-0 mark, while Loyola and Maryland are 7-0, and Princeton is 6-0.
• The last time the Greyhounds opened their season with seven-straight wins was in 2011 when they went undefeated through the first 12 games. Loyola started the season ranked 12th nationally and climbed as high as No. 5 before dropping a 15-13 contest to No. 16 Georgetown on April 19, 2011. Loyola went on to win its first-ever BIG EAST Championship that year and earned the No. 6 seed in the NCAA Championships. The Greyhounds hosted the first and second round games at Ridley Athletic Complex, defeating Notre Dame, 12-10, and No. 19 Massachusetts, 10-7, respectively, before falling at No. 3 North Carolina, 16-13, in the quarterfinal round. Loyola tied the school record with 17 wins that year, finishing the season with a 17-3 record.
Battle of the Best
• Wednesday's match-up will feature a battle between some of the best players in the nation, as both Loyola and Princeton feature multiple Tewaaraton Award Watch List nominees.
• For Loyola, attackers Livy Rosenzweig and Sydni Black, in addition to midfielder Jillian Wilson, will face Princeton defender Marge Donovan, while Greyhound defender Katie Detwiler and Wilson will look to contain the Tigers' leading scorer, Kyla Sears.
Loyola Greyhounds (7-0, 1-0 Patriot League)
• Six Greyhounds have double-digit points this season, with Livy Rosenzweig leading the team with 19 goals, nine assists and 28 points.
• Sam Fiedler has averaged 5.0 points per game over the last four games to move into second on the team with 23 points (16g, 7a) and Jillian Wilson (12g, 7a) is third with 19 points.
• Sydni Black (13g, 4a) is fourth with 17 points, while Elli Kluegel (10g, 5a) and Georgia Black (13g, 4a) have combined for 30 points.
• Defensively, Katie Detwiler has a team-best nine caused turnovers, while Shay Clevenger and Wilson have 12 ground balls each. Wilson also has a team-best 44 draw controls.
• In goal, Kaitlyn Larsson has played 408 minutes. She's allowing 8.07goals per game and has 56 saves to go with 13 ground balls.
Princeton Tigers (6-0, 1-0 Ivy League)
• Kyla Sears, a preseason All-American and Tewaaraton Award Watch List honoree, leads Princeton with 20 goals, seven assists and 27 points.
• McKenzie Blake is second on the team with 20 points (15g, 5a), while Grace Tauckus is close behind with 19 points (17g, 2a).
• Marge Donovan, another preseason All-American and Tewaaraton Award Watch List honoree, anchors the defense and has won a team-best 40 draw controls.
• In goal, Sam Fish has played all 360 minutes. She's posting a 12.50 goals against average and has stopped 65 shots for a .464 save percentage.
Series History with Princeton
• Princeton leads the all-time series with Loyola, 13-5, after winning both match-ups in 2019, which was the last time the two teams met.
• The Tigers earned a 14-10 victory in the regular season and then knocked the Greyhounds out of the 2019 NCAA Tournament with a 17-13 second-round win.
• Loyola's first win came in 2000, which was the second meeting between the two programs. Meeting every year from 2000 through 2007, the Greyhounds again came out on top in 2001 and 2003, but the Tigers won six-straight from 2003-2009 to take an 8-3 lead in the series.
• The two teams didn't play from 2010-2013, but Loyola earned the victory when the series continued in 2014. Princeton has won five of the six meetings since then, though.
