Box Score HAMILTON, N.Y. – Loyola University Maryland took the first set from host Colgate University, 25-18, on Friday evening, but the Raiders came back to win the next three, 25-17, 25-20, 25-19, to claim a win in the Patriot League opener for both teams.
 
Lauren Link led the Greyhounds with 16 kills, while Cecilia Guys had five total bocks, and Katie Forsyth picked up 18 digs.
 
Loyola hit at a .394 clip in the opening set with 16 kills and just three errors on 33 swings, but the Greyhounds hit just .131 the rest of the way.
 
Abby Shadwick led Colgate with 13 kills.
 
Loyola continues conference play on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Worcester, Massachusetts, against College of the Holy Cross.
