The Matchup
- The Greyhounds travel to New York to take on the Army Black Knights on Thursday evening. 
- This will be the 24th meeting between the two programs, with Army holding an 16-7 edge over the Greyhounds. 

A Look Back
- The Greyhounds finished the non-conference part of their schedule with five wins; which is the most for the Greyhounds since the 2012-13 season. 
- The Greyhounds secured wins against UMBC, Monmouth, Bryant, Delaware State, and Hofstra. 
- The Greyhounds have already matched their win total from last season (5 wins), as they head into conference play. 
- To begin conference play, the Greyhounds defeated Colgate 61-56 in overtime, to begin conference play 1-0 for the first time since the 2015-16 season.

- The Greyhounds continue Patriot League play on Sunday, as the Greyhounds will host Holy Cross at 2:00 PM in Reitz Arena.

Scouting Army
- The Black Knights come into the matchup with an 3-9 (1-1) record on the season, having won their last game against Lafayette on Monday (75-56).
- Sabria Hunter leads the Black Knights with 13.4 points and 12.1 rebounds. Hunter also leads the Patriot League in rebounds.
- Lauren Lithgow, Kamryn Hall, and Reese Ericson are averaging 8.8 points, 8.7 points, and 8.5 points respectively. 
- Coming into the season, the Black Knights were picked to finish fifth place in the Patriot League.

Therien Named to Patriot League Preseason Team
- Lex Therien was named to the Preseason All-Patriot League team prior to the start of the year.
- The sophomore forward made a big splash her freshman year, as she averaged 12.6 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. 
- She finished ninth in the Patriot League in scoring and finished first in rebounds per game. 
- She was named Rookie of the Year and named to the All-League Second Team

By The Numbers
- The Greyhounds have been dominant on the boards this season, as they have out-rebounded opponents in 9 of 13 games this season.
- A reason for the Greyhounds early success has been scoring and turnovers. The Greyhounds are 6-1 on the season when winning the turnover margin, and also 6-1 when scoring over 60 points. They are also 4-2 when allowing 59 points or less.
