The Matchup
- The Greyhounds will continue conference play on Saturday evening, as they will host the Lafayette Leopards for senior day. 
- This will be the 14th meeting between the two programs, with the Greyhounds holding the series edge, 7-3-3. 

Quick Hits
- The Greyhounds earned two draws against ACC foes thus far this season. This is the first time the Greyhounds earned two wins/draws against ACC foes since the 2001 season, where they beat Maryland twice (1-0, 1-0 OT).  
- The Greyhounds have played three teams that were ranked in this weeks United Soccer Coaches poll; West Virginia (No. 7), North Carolina (No. 14), and Fordham (No. 24), with the Greyhounds earning a draw in each of those games. 
- Steve Nichols enters his tenth season at the helm for the Greyhounds, and has amassed a record of 70-58-33 (45-24-15) during his tenure.

- They Greyhounds have now gone 12 straight games without a loss, as they are 5-0-7 in their last 12 games. 
- After not scoring more than one goal in a game, the Greyhounds have scored multiple goals in four of their last seven games, winning all four games they scored multiple goals. 
- The Greyhounds are first in the Patriot League in goals allowed, as they are the lone Patriot League team to allow less than 10 goals. They also rank third in the Patriot League in shots and are tied for first in scoring margin. 
- The Greyhounds are the only Division I team with at least eight ties on the season. 

Greyhounds Offense
- The Greyhounds have scored 16 goals on the season. 12 different players have scored a goal this season. 
- Likewise, they have ten assists on the season coming from seven different players, with Sean McEvoy, Jordy Luchies and Thomas Gray leading the team with two assists.  
- The Greyhounds have only four players with double-digit shots on the season; Danilo Seglio (24), Jake Sweeney (16), Rolando Onu (17) and Sean McEvoy (12). 

Scouting Lafayette
- The Leopards come into the matchup with an 7-4-3 (4-1-1) record on the season,  and are coming off of a 2-0 home win over Boston. 
- Hale Lombard leads the Patriot League with 10 goals on the season, with four goals coming during conference play. 
- Benji Grossi leads the team with four assists on the season, while Lombard has three assists on the season. 
- Griffin Huff has started 9 games in goal, tallying 12 saves, a .706 save percentage, and an 0.56 GAA. Eric Axtman has started five games in goal, tallying 13 saves, a .650 save percentage, and an 1.40 GAA. 
- Coming into the season, Lafayette was picked to finish in seventh place in the Patriot League Preseason Poll. 
- The Leopards currently sit in tied for second place in the Patriot League with 13 points, tied with Boston, but the Leopards hold the tiebreaker over Lafayette.

- The Greyhounds are 43-11-12 in the Patriot League since the beginning of the 2016 season. 
- In 2022, the Greyhounds set a program-high with 8 ties on the season.
- The Greyhounds are 13-0-1 since the beginning of the 2021 season when scoring multiple goals. They are also 13-0 when leading at halftime and 13-3-11 when they out shoot opponents since the beginning of 2021.
- The Greyhounds currently are the only team in Division I with at least eight ties.  
- Fun fact: Richie Nichols and Caden Stafford were roommates during their Freshman year at Maryland.

Bounce Back Season
- 2022 was a down year for the Greyhounds, as their streak of four-straight regular season Championships came to an end.
- The Greyhounds also failed to make the Patriot League Championships for the first time since 2015.
- Jordy Luchies and Jake Mayer missed the majority of the 2022 season during injuries, but look to play major rolls on the back-line for the Greyhounds in 2023. 
- Despite losing some key pieces following 2022, the Greyhounds re-tooled, bringing in 17 newcomers to the roster. 
- With some important returners and key newcomers, the Greyhounds look to regain their form from the 2021 season, in which they won the Patriot League.
- The Greyhounds have already surpassed their Patriot League win total from a season ago.
