The Matchup
- The Greyhounds will host the Colgate Raiders in the Patriot League Championships Quarterfinals. 
- This will be the second meeting of the season. In their first meeting, the Greyhounds won 4-0, as four different Greyhounds scored a goal. 

Quick Hits
- Baylee DeSmit currently leads the Patriot League in goals (10), points (28), third in shots (62), and is second in assists (8). 
- Paige Sim currently leads the Patriot League in shutouts (8), while also leading the league with an .843 GAA.
- The Greyhounds back line this season has been lock down, as they lead the Patriot League in shots allowed per game this season (7.5). They are the only Patriot League team to currently allow less than 10 shots per game and less than a goal allowed per game.  
- The Greyhounds seven game winning streak came to an end, which was their longest since 2009. 

Greyhounds at Home
- The Greyhounds have won all but one game at home so far this season, amassing a 9-1 record at home. 
- The Greyhounds have the second most wins at home this season, trailing just Texas Tech, who has ten home wins this season. 
- In nine wins at home, the Greyhounds have outscored opponents 22-2, while they have out shot opponents 126-48 in those nine games. 
- This is the best start at home the Greyhounds have had since the 2005 season, where the Greyhounds finished 9-0 at home. Since 1992, the Greyhounds have had just three total undefeated seasons at home. Other than 2005, the Greyhounds finished undefeated at home in 1999 (5-0) and in 1996 (11-0-1). 

Conference Play
- The Greyhounds won their first four games in Patriot League play, which is their best start since joining the Patriot League in 2013. It is also their best start to conference play since 2009, where they went 9-0 in the MAAC. 
- During conference play thus far, the Greyhounds have out shot opponents 114-67, including out shooting Bucknell 20-4. 
- Baylee DeSmit has scored six goals in conference play, while Delaney DeMartino and Chloe Kuminkoski both have two goals each. 
- Paige Sim and the Greyhounds defense have shutout four opponents in conference play, and have allowed just five goals so far. 
- The Greyhounds finished the regular season in third place, finishing with an 6-3 Patriot League record, which is their most conference wins in a season since joining the Patriot League. 

Scouting Colgate
- The Raiders come into the matchup with a 4-12-2 (3-5-1) record and are the No. 6 seed in the Patriot League Championships. They are coming off a 3-0 win against Holy Cross, that got them into the Playoffs. 
- Ari Bezanson was named to the Patriot League First Team, while Olivia Anderson was named to the Second Team. 
- Bezanson leads the team with six goals on the season, while Ally Giovino leads the team with three assists on the year. 
- In goal, Alli Popham has started all 18 games this year, tallying 58 saves, a 1.49 goals against average, and an .699 save percentage. 
- The Raiders have won one of their last four games coming into the Quarterfinal matchup.  

Quick Notes
- The 2023 season will be the 13th season the Greyhounds have been in the Patriot League, going 31-42-22 during that span, reaching the Patriot League Championships in five straight seasons, which includes two trips to the Patriot League Semifinals. 
- This is Head Coach Joe Mallia's second stint at the helm with the Greyhounds. During his first stint, Mallia went 87-45-9 (54-4-5, MAAC), Winning the MAAC Regular-Season Championship four times, and the MAAC Tournament Championship three times.
- In his four season's back at the helm, Mallia has gone 33-27-14. 
- The Greyhounds have gone 60-42-18 at home since the opening of Ridley Athletic Complex.
- Paige Sim is tied for 23rd in Division I with seven shutouts this season. 
- Dating back to the beginning of the 2022 season, the Greyhounds have recorded 17 shutouts in 34 games. 

Recipe for Success 
- The Greyhounds have recorded a shutout in eight of their eleven wins so far this season.
- Ten different players have scored a goal thus far this season, with Baylee DeSmit leading the team with ten, as Delaney DeMartino has four goals, and Elizabeth Gallagher, Chloe Kuminkoski, Alex Searing and Olivia Quaranta each have two goals each.
- The Greyhounds have won 22 of the last 25 games in which they have scored two goals or more, which dates back to Sept. 6, 2018. Loyola is 8-0-0 when scoring multiple goals this season.
- The Greyhounds are 23-1-3 when scoring first and 18-1-1 when leading at halftime since the beginning of the 2021 season.
- Since the beginning of the 2022 season, the Greyhounds are 1-11-0 when their opponent scored first.

- Sim has recorded 34 wins in her career, including 31 shutouts. 
- Paige Sim has played 1,370 minutes out of a possible 1,440 minutes so far this season, and tallied her season-high of six saves in the season opener against Dayton.
- She was tied for second in the Patriot League in shutouts and fourth in saves per game during the 2022 season.
- Sim was a first team All-Patriot League honoree during the 2021 season, was a third team All-Conference selection during the 2021 spring season and she was a second team selection following her freshman season in 2019.
- Sim just broke the Loyola career record for shutouts, securing her 31st shutout agaisnt Holy Cross. She is also now tied for the Patriot League shutout record, that was set by Army's Alex Lostetter (2007-10) and Colgate's Kelly Tyrell (1996-99), as both had 31 in their career.

- Baylee DeSmit was voted as the Offensive Player of the Year, announced the Patriot League on October 27. DeSmit finished the regular season leading the Patriot League in goals and points, and was second in assists. She was also named to the First Team All-League Team. 
- Alex Searing (First Team), Elizabeth Gallagher (Second Team), and Delaney DeMartino (Third Team) also were named to All-League teams.
