Baltimore -- The Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse team has announced that seven class of 2024 recruits have signed their letter of intent to join the Greyhounds during the early NCAA signing period. 

"I am thrilled to officially welcome our seven new future student-athletes to the Loyola Women's Lacrosse program," said Head Coach Jen Adams. "This is an exciting class of talent and athleticism at all positions. I'm very much looking forward to following their successful senior high school campaigns in the lead up to them joining us next season."

Emma McLean •  Manorville, NY  •  Eastport South Manor

Before Loyola: Attended Eastport South Manor High School, where she played lacrosse and field hockey ... Was All-County in field hockey her junior and senior season, and was captain during her senior year ... Was named All-Division in 2022, and named to All County Honorable Mention and All Tournament in 2023 ... Played club lacrosse for Yellow Jackets Blue.

Personal: Member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Seocial Studies Honor Society, Varsity Leaders Club, and is a AP Scholar. 

Mary Cate Rehkemper •  Catonsville, MD  •  Mount De Sales Academy

Before Loyola: Attended Mount De Sales Academy, where she was a four year varsity starter, and was a junior and senior captain ... Also played varsity soccer for three seasons ... Named to the IAAM A Conference Team ... Played Club Lacrosse for Hero's Green, where she was a member of the 2023 Vail Shootout Champions ... Was named to the 2022 National Watchlist for 2024's. 

Personal: Daughter of Catie and Andy ... Two siblings, Libby and Mia ... Mia currently plays lacrosse at Towson University and sister played lacrosse at Radford University ... Before Loyola: Attended Manchester-Essex Regional, where she also played soccer and basketball ...  She was named the Cape Ann League All-Star following her junior season ... Scored 93 goals and 39 assists during her career and was named a captain for her senior season ... Member of the Cape Ann League Champions in 2022 and was the Division 4 State Runner-Up ... Played club lacrosse for 3d Lacrosse New England.

Before Loyola: Played for Williamstown Women's Lacrosse Club, where she was a member of the 2023 U18 Champions ... Was named the 2023 U18 Victorian MVP and was the State LEague Victorian highest goal scorer ... Was named captain during the 2023 season. 

Personal: Three siblings; Solomon, Xavier, and Bec.

Before Loyola: Played for Saints Peter and Paul high school, where she also played field hockey and basketball, where she was named first team all conference in all three sports ... Has totalled 299 career points thus far in her career (155 goals, 144 assists) ... Named First Team All Conference in all three seasons, as well as being named Player of the Year the last two seasons, and named US Lacrosse High School All-American following her junior season ...
