BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Following two wins for Loyola University Maryland's women's basketball team over Lafayette and Navy last week, Lex Therien was honored by the Patriot League as she was named Player of the Week. 

Therien had one of her best weeks of the season, as she averaged 20.5 points and 17.5 rebounds on the week. She also shot a combined 14-24 (58.3%) from the field while also going a perfect 13-13 from the foul line. 

In the Greyhounds win at Lafayette, Therien had 17 points, 20 rebounds, and 2 assists while shooting 7-14 from the floor. She followed that up with 24 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and a assist in the win over Navy. She shot 7-10 from the floor and 10-10 from the foul line. 

Therien is now averaging 15.5 points and 10.7 rebounds per game on the season on 49.7% shooting. 

The Greyhounds will look to continue their momentum on Wednesday when they travel to face Holy Cross at 7:00 PM.
