- The Leopards come into the matchup with an 10-18 (7-11) record during the regular season.
- The Leopards won their last two games of the regular season, having beat Bucknell and Navy.
- The Leopards are coming off of an 74-point performance against Navy, which was a season high in points.
- Makayla Andrews scored a game-high 27 points while also grabbing 17 rebounds in the win.
- In their last matchup, Andrews had a team-high 16 points and 8 rebounds. Abby Antognoli added 11 points and 4 rebounds in the Greyhounds win.
- Antognoli and Andrews were both named to the All-Patriot League Third team.
- This will be the second straight season in which the Greyhounds and Leopards face off in the first round of the Patriot League Championships, with the Leopards winning last year 58-49.

- The Greyhounds have been dominant on the boards this season, as they have out-rebounded opponents in 19 of 30 games this season.
- A reason for the Greyhounds early success had been scoring and turnovers. The Greyhounds are now 7-3 on the season when winning the turnover margin, and also 9-3 when scoring over 60 points, however, they are 0-17 when scoring 59 points or less. They are also 7-6 when allowing 59 points or less.
