The Matchup
- The Loyola women's lacrosse will wrap up non-conference play on Wednesday, with a road matchup against No. 22 Princeton.
- The Greyhounds are coming off of their best offensive performance of the season, as they beat Colgate 23-4.
- Both teams matched up last season, with the Greyhounds winning a competitive matchup 16-15 on March 23.

- The Greyhounds return seven of their top 10 scorers from the 2022 season, led by four players who scored 25 or more goals: Jillian Wilson (48), Sydni Black (39), Georgia Latch (38), and Chase Boyle (25). 
- Latch also finished second on the team in 2022 with 38 assists, good for second most by a freshman in program history. 
- Following the win against American, Head Coach Jen Adams became the all-time wins leader at Loyola, tallying her 198th career win. With the win over Colgate, Adams reached 200 career wins as the head coach at Loyola.
- Adams become the 19th active Division I head coach with 200 career wins. 

Last Time Out
- Loyola Maryland was back on the road on Saturday, as they traveled to face Colgate. 
- Once again, the Greyhounds offense got going early and often to begin the game, socring eleven goals in the first quarter. 
- Jillian Wilson had a hat-trick within the first five minutes of the game, while Chase Boyle, Georgia Latch and Sydni Black each had two goals in the first quarter. 
- The Greyhounds offensive paced slowed down slightly in the second quarter, but they still led 15-3 at halftime. 
- Latch finished the day with another big game, tallying seven points, while Wilson and Boyle finished with five goals each. Black had a hat-trick, while Emily Wills had three assists. 

Series History
- Princeton leads the series 13-6, with the first matchup in the series coming in 1989, that was a Princeton 7-6 win. 
- The teams have faced off eight times since 2014, including a matchup in the NCAA tournament in 2019, where Princeton won 17-13.
- In last year's matchup, the Greyhounds won 16-15 in at matchup at Ridley.  

Scouting Princeton
- The Tigers come into the matchup with an 5-5 record on the season. 
- The Tigers and Greyhounds have had one similar opponent in Penn State, that the Tigers lost to on March 18 by a score of 16-14. 
- This will be the seventh ranked game of the season for the Tigers, who hold an 2-4 record in those games. 
- The Tigers are led by McKenzie Blake who has 29 goals on the season. Kari Buonanno and Jami MacDonald have 22 and 21 goals on the season respectively. 
- MacDonald and Buonanno are the lone Tigers with double-digit assists, with 12 and 11 assists respectively on the season. 
- Amelia Hughes has started all 10 games for the Tigers, amassing 113 saves and an 13.14 GAA on the season. 

Where We Rank in the Country
- The Greyhounds have dominated the possession this season, in big part to their draw control, which ranks first in the country, as the Greyhounds win 71.4% of their draw controls. In big part to Jillian Wilson, who ranks fifth in the country in draw controls per game. 
- The Greyhounds defense has also been dominant, as they are second in the country in goals allowed average, allowing just 7.25 goals per game. 
- Lauren Spence ranks second in the country in goals against average, and 11th in the country in save percentage in goal. 
- The Greyhounds are also one of the best passing teams in the country, as they are averaging 8.0 assists per game, which is good for sixth in the country.   

Nationally Ranked
- Following the win to against Colgate, the Greyhounds are ranked 11th in the ILWomen/IWLCA coaches poll and 12th in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll. 
- Princeton is ranked No. 22 in the IWLCA coaches poll.
- The Greyhounds schedule has eight teams ranked in this week's polls. Syracuse (1st), Florida (9th), Army (15th), Penn (17th), Penn State (18th), Princeton (22nd), Navy (23rd), and Johns Hopkins (25th).

Patriot League Players of the Week
- Jillian Wilson was named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week following the Greyhounds win over Johns Hopkins. 
- Wilson scored three goals while also adding an assist. She added five draw controls in the game as the Greyhounds won 12-10.
- Following her career-day against Towson, Sydni Black was named Patriot League Attacker of the Week. 
- Black scored a career-high five goals and had a high of seven points in the Greyhounds 16-5 win over the Tigers. 
- Black also won Attacker of the Week for the following week, after she put up another career week. 
- Lauren Spence was named Goalkeeper of the Week following the wins over Penn and Penn State for compiling 20 saves over the week.  
- Following the Greyhounds games against Syracuse and Lehigh, Katie Detwiler was named Patriot League defensive player of the week for a record-tying 12th time.
- Following the wins over American and Holy Cross, Jillian Wilson and Georgia Latch were named Players of the Week. 
- Wilson followed up her performance with another Midfielder of the Week following the win over Colgate.

Latch, Wilson, and Detwiler Earn Preseason PL Awards
- Georgia Latch was named the Patriot League Preseason Attacker of the Year by conference coaches. 
- The sophomore out of Austrailia is coming off of one of the best freshman seasons in program history, as she was second on the team with 76 points, as tallied 38 goals and 38 assists. 
- Graduate student Jillian Wilson was named the Patriot League Preseason Midfielder of the Year. 
- Wilson is the reigning Patriot League Midfielder of the Year after tallying a career best 48 goals and the second most draw controls in a season in program history (133). 
- Graduate student Katie Detwiler was named the Patriot League Preseason Defender of the Year. 
- Detwiler is the two-time reigning Defensive Player of the Year in the Patriot League. She tallied a career-high 20 caused turnovers and 53 draw controls in 2022, as she led the Greyhounds stellar defense. 

Mid-Season All-Americans
- ILWomen released their Mid-Season All-Americans, and five Greyhounds were named. 
- Jillian Wilson was named first team All-American, while Katie Detwiler was named second team All-American. 
- Sydni Black, Georgia Latch, and Lauren Spence were all named honorable mention All-American.
