FAIRFAX STATION, Va. – The Loyola University Maryland women's rowing team competed at the George Mason Invitational on Sunday at the Occoquan Reservoir with several boats dropping time from their respective heats to finals.
 
Loyola's varsity four – Holly Hanscom, Emily Pedersen, Grace Gola, Cassidy Garcia and coxswain Callista Van Syckel – finished fourth in the petite final with a time of 9:11.7, dropping its time from 9:59.7 in the morning heat.
 
The Greyhounds' varsity four took third in its petite final as Emma McCann, Megan Gallucci, Olivia Welch, Lindsey Bonavita, Katherine Convery, Grace Dwan, Grace Prince, Daniella Niedermeyer and coxswain Delaney Gibbons rowed a time of 7:13.8, an improvement of 11 seconds from its heat.
 
Kristine Jones, Anna Schiller, Cassidy Garcia, Erin White and coxswain Izabella Schafer finished third in the petite final of the second varsity four, rowing 9:31.6, a drop of almost 15 seconds from its heat.
 
Loyola's second varsity eight – Anna Kelley, Maura Budd, Samantha Walsh, Ivy Gallagher, Lindsey Thompson, Kylie Doyle, Beata Turnquist, Adriana Leszczynski and coxswain Meilyn Frank – took fourth in its petite final, finishing in 8:23.0.
