FAIRFAX STATION, Va. – The Loyola University Maryland women's rowing team competed at the George Mason Invitational on Sunday at the Occoquan Reservoir with several boats dropping time from their respective heats to finals.
Loyola's varsity four –

Callista Van Syckel – finished fourth in the petite final with a time of 9:11.7, dropping its time from 9:59.7 in the morning heat.
The Greyhounds' varsity four took third in its petite final as

Delaney Gibbons rowed a time of 7:13.8, an improvement of 11 seconds from its heat.

Izabella Schafer finished third in the petite final of the second varsity four, rowing 9:31.6, a drop of almost 15 seconds from its heat.
