PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – Loyola University Maryland women's rowing raced at the 2025 Patriot League Championships on the Cooper River Friday and was led by a second-place finish in the varsity eight petite final.
The Greyhounds lowered their time by more than six seconds from their heat finish of 7:32.726 to 7:26.365 for second in the petite final of the race. Loyola edged third-place Lehigh by 3.131 seconds.
Loyola's three other boats took third place in their respective petite finals.
The Greyhounds' second varsity eight rowed 7:56.146 in the morning heats and then finished the petite final in 8:18.062.
Loyola's first varsity four finished its final in 9:12.333 after rowing 8:52.752 in the morning. The Greyhounds' second varsity four rowed 9:05.006 in its heat and then finished the petite final in 9:35.335.
