Baltimore, MD -- The Loyola University Maryland women's basketball team has added Amandine Amorich to its 2023 recruiting class.
Amorich is the Greyhounds fifth signee this year, joining Aminata Hernandez, Kailey Kalet, Lily Bottomley, and Kimmie Hicks.
"Signing five players in a class is very difficult." Head Coach
Danielle O'Banion said. "To do so in back-to-back years is a testament to the world-class opportunities offered at Loyola University Maryland. Ami, Kailey, Lily, Kimmie and now Amandine comprise a highly impactful class on and off the court."
Amandine Amorich is a 5-foot-11 guard from Montpellier, France, who was a member of the HOF women's basketball eastern regionals championship winning team. Amorich was also named the RSEQ Player of the Year and named to the Provincial Star Team.
"Amandine's addition is another step forward for our program," O'Banion said. "Her skill set and physicality significantly enhance our perimeter play."
Amorich will also be the fifth international player of the Greyhounds roster, joining
Laura Salmerón,
Cristina Garcia,
Marta Espinal, and Aminata Hernández.
