WORCESTER, Mass. – The Loyola University Maryland rowing team competed Friday at the 2023 Patriot League Championships on Lake Quinsigamond.
 
The Greyhounds took third in all three petite finals and finished ninth overall with six points.
 
Loyola's varsity eight – Emma McCann, Megan Gallucci, Olivia Welch, Lindsey Bonavita, Katherine Convery, Grace Dwan, Grace Prince, Daniella Niedermeyer and coxswain Delaney Gibbons – dropped more than 25 seconds off its preliminaries time and took third in the petite final at 7:01.172
 
The Greyhounds' second varsity eight – Anna Kelley, Maura Budd, Lindsey Thompson, Ivy Gallagher, Samantha Walsh, Kylie Doyle, Beata Turnquist, Adriana Leszczynski and coxswain Meilyn Frank -- finished third in its petite final with a time of 7:54.251.
 
Holly Hanscom, Emily Pedersen, Grace Gola, Erin White and coxswain Callista Van Syckel rowed to a time of 9:15.252 for third in the varsity four petite final.
