Indianapolis, Ind. -- Loyola University Maryland was one of 287 schools across all NCAA and NAIA divisions named as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the 2022-23 academic year, whith an additional 16 Greyhounds recognized individually on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Honor Roll, as announced by the IWLCA on Wednesday.
To qualify for this prestigious honor, teams were required to post a grade-point average of 3.2 or higher during 2022-23 academic year. Loyola easily surpassed that standard, finishing with a team GPA of 3.544 while earning its seventh Patriot League Championship in nine years and advancing to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season.

Jen Adams, while the Greyhounds have had multiple Honor Roll recipients in each of the last nine years.
To be named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior or graduate student athletically, with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. A total of 941 individuals from 96 different institutions earned a spot on the NCAA Division I Academic Honor Roll.
