The University of Delaware scored two goals in the first half and held off Loyola University Maryland men's soccer the rest of the way, handing the Greyhounds a 2-0 defeat on Sunday evening at Ridley Athletic Complex.

The Greyhounds (0-1-1 overall) found some momentum on the offensive end of the field in the second half, leading in shots, 6-2. Despite the Greyhounds could not find the back of the net, as only one shot was on goal in the game.
Dylan Van der Walt tallied three saves in the game, and
Danilo Seglio led the team with two shot attempts.
The Greyhounds will be back in action on Thursday, as they will travel to face Virginia Teach at 5:00 PM.
