The Matchup
- The Greyhounds will continue conference play on Wednesday, as they will travel to face off against Bucknell. 
- This will be the 13th meeting between the two programs, with teams battling to a draw in their matchup last season. 

Quick Hits
- The Greyhounds earned two draws against ACC foes thus far this season. This is the first time the Greyhounds earned two wins/draws against ACC foes since the 2001 season, where they beat Maryland twice (1-0, 1-0 OT).  
- Dylan Van der Walt, Sean McEvoy, Danilo Seglio, and Jake Mayer have started each game thus far this season.  
- Steve Nichols enters his tenth season at the helm for the Greyhounds, and has amassed a record of 67-58-31 (43-24-14) during his tenure.

Greyhounds Offense
- The Greyhounds have scored 10 goals on the season, with all 10 goals coming from different players. 
- Likewise, they have seven assists on the season coming from six different players, with Sean McEvoy leading the team with two assists.  
- The Greyhounds have only three players with double-digit shots on the season; Danilo Seglio (20), Jake Sweeney (13), and Sean McEvoy (11). 
- In total, the Greyhounds have at least 16 players with a shot on goal so far this season. Sweeney and Seglio are both tied for the team lead with 8 shots on goal this season.  

Scouting Army
- The Black Knights come into the matchup with an 3-5 (1-2) record on the season, and are coming off of two straight Patriot League losses, one to Holy Cross 2-0, and the other to Lafayette 1-0. 
- Cooper Warren and Jubril Bamgbala are tied for the team lead with two goals each. 
- Joey Hickson and Nick Atkinson are tied with the team lead with two assists each. 
- In goal, Harrison Faulkner has started seven of the eight games, tallying 17 saves and an 1.71 goals allowed average. Keanu Likewise started one game in goal, recording a shutout in his lone start. 
- The Black Knights won their season opener against Air Force, 3-2. They also defeated Albany 1-0 during their non-conference schedule. 
- In the Patriot League Preseason Poll, the Black Knights were picked to finsih in sixth place, receiving 106 points in the poll, including four first place votes.

- The Greyhounds are 41-11-11 in the Patriot League since the beginning of the 2016 season. 
- In 2022, the Greyhounds set a program-high with 8 ties on the season.
- The Greyhounds are 11-0-1 since the beginning of the 2021 season when scoring multiple goals. They are also 10-0 when leading at halftime and 10-3-10 when they out shoot opponents since the beginning of 2021.
- The Greyhounds currently are the only team in Division I with at least six ties. 
- The Greyhounds have been playing smart so far this season, committing just 117 fouls, compared to their opponents who have been called for 135 fouls. 
- Fun fact: Richie Nichols and Caden Stafford were roommates during their Freshman year at Maryland.

Bounce Back Season
- 2022 was a down year for the Greyhounds, as their streak of four-straight regular season Championships came to an end.
- The Greyhounds also failed to make the Patriot League Championships for the first time since 2015.
- Jordy Luchies and Jake Mayer missed the majority of the 2022 season during injuries, but look to play major rolls on the back-line for the Greyhounds in 2023. 
- Despite losing some key pieces following 2022, the Greyhounds re-tooled, bringing in 17 newcomers to the roster. 
- With some important returners and key newcomers, the Greyhounds look to regain their form from the 2021 season, in which they won the Patriot League.

More on Luchies
- The Emmen, Netherlands native, Luchies comes into his junior season after being named to the 2021 First Team All-Patriot League team and as the 2022 Preseason Defender of the Year. 
- Luchies 2022 campaign was cut short due to injury, but looks to get back to his dominance on the back line this year for the Greyhounds. 
- Luchies was an anchor on the back line for the Greyhounds and was a crucial part of the Greyhounds defense.
- Luchies also tallied 1 assist during the 2021 season, and was the lone Greyhound to start in all 20 games.
