The Matchup
- The Greyhounds will continue conference play on Saturday, as the Greyhounds will host the Colgate Raiders.
- This will be the 12th meeting between the two programs. The Raiders hold the series edge, but the Greyhounds have won the last three games.

- Baylee DeSmit currently leads the Patriot League in goals (6) and points (18), and is tied for first in assists (6). 
- Paige Sim currently leads the Patriot League in shutouts (6), while also sitting in second with an .867 GAA.
- The Greyhounds back line this season has been lock down, as they lead the Patriot League in shots allowed per game this season (7.3). They are the only Patriot League team to currently allow less than 10 shots per game.

Greyhounds at Home
- The Greyhounds have won every game at home so far this season, ammassing a 7-0 record at home. 
- The Greyhounds are tied with Oklahoma State and Northern Iowa for the most wins at home without a loss or draw. The Greyhounds are also just one of just 25 teams to have won every game at home (no losses or draws). 
- In their seven wins at home, the Greyhounds have outscored opponents 15-2, while they have out shot opponents 100-33 in those seven games. 
- This is the best start at home the Greyhounds have had since the 2005 season, where the Greyhounds finished 9-0 at home. Since 1992, the Greyhounds have had just three total undefeated seasons at home. Other than 2005, the Greyhounds finished undefeated at home in 1999 (5-0) and in 1996 (11-0-1). 

During the Winning Streak
- During the Greyhounds six game winning streak, Baylee DeSmit has been the leading force, scoring four goals and five assists in her last six games. 
- Delaney DeMartino and Olivia Quaranta have both scored multiple goals, as DeMartino has three goals and Quaranta two goals in their last six games. 
- Kelly Hutton is second on the team with three assists in the last six games, only behind DeSmit. 
- Paige Sim has four shutouts in the last six games, tallying 13 saves for a .867 save percentage. She also had a 0.33 goals against average in the last six games. 
- Zoe Willis and Alex Searning lead the team in minutes, as the duo have led the Greyhounds back line. The duo has combined to play all but 54 minutes over the last six games. 
- In total, the Greyhounds have out scored opponents 12-2 over the last six games, and out shot opponents 86-38. 

Scouting Colgate
- The Raiders come into the matchup with an 2-8-2 (1-1-1) record on the season, with their two wins coming against Canisius and Navy. They also recorded a draw against Preseason favorites, Bucknell. 
- Ari Bezanson leads the team with four goals on the season, as Cara Schmidlein and Ally Giovino lead the team with two assists each.

- In the Patriot League Preseason Poll, the Raiders were picked to finish in seventh place, one place behind the Greyhounds, as they received 56 points in the poll. 
- The Raiders are coming off of a 2022 season where they finished with a 3-10-4 record. 

Quick Notes
- The 2023 season will be the 13th season the Greyhounds have been in the Patriot League, going 28-39-22 during that span, reaching the Patriot League Championships in four straight seasons, which includes two trips to the Patriot League Semifinals. 
- This is Head Coach Joe Mallia's second stint at the helm with the Greyhounds. During his first stint, Mallia went 87-45-9 (54-4-5, MAAC), Winning the MAAC Regular-Season Championship four times, and the MAAC Tournament Championship three times.
- In his four season's back at the helm, Mallia has gone 30-24-14. 
- The Greyhounds have gone 58-41-18 at home since the opening of Ridley Athletic Complex.
- Paige Sim is tied for 10th in Division I with six shutouts this season. 
- Dating back to the beginning of the 2022 season, the Greyhounds have recorded 15 shutouts in 28 games. 

Recipe for Success
- The Greyhounds are the only team in the Patriot League that has won every game at home this season, posting a 7-0 record. 
- The Greyhounds have recorded a shutout in six of their eight wins so far this season.
- Eight different players have scored a goal thus far this season, with Baylee DeSmit leading the team with six, as Delaney DeMartino has three goals, and Elizabeth Gallagher, and Olivia Quaranta each have two goals each.
- The Greyhounds have won 19 of the last 22 games in which they have scored two goals or more, which dates back to Sept. 6, 2018. Loyola is 5-0-0 when scoring multiple goals this season.
