Bethlehem -- The Patriot League released their weekly awards on Monday afternoon, as Loyola Maryland's
Olivia Quaranta earned a weekly award.
Quaranta earns her first career Patriot League Player of the Week nod, as she was named the Midfielder of the Week, following the Greyhounds 2-0 week.
Quaranta scored two goals on the week, scoring one in the win over Manhattan and the win over Rice. Her goal against Manhattan came off of a corner kick, where she headed the ball off of a cross from
Baylee DeSmit, into the back of the net. Her goal against Rice also came off of a corner kick, this time, Quaranta scrambled to the loose ball in front of net, and flicked it past the goalkeeper for the goal. On top of her two goals, she was a force in the midfield, helping the Greyhounds limit their opponents to an combined 13 shots in two games.
The Greyhounds will close out their non-conference schedule next Sunday, as the Greyhounds will host Longwood University at 3:00 pm.
